Can you summarize what Styles are?
Styles are essentially the way you use a character. You can read more on the styles page.
Do I need to have a style?
No, however some inter-clan matches require that you have a designated style, it's safe to pick one for when you may need it.
Can you summarize what character types are?
Character types determine how a character is used. A character classified as "Areal" will excel at areal combat, where as a character classified as "Brawler" will excel at close combat.
I use areal combat allot, but the character I use isn't classified as Areal does that mean I can't use him/her?
Feel free to use whatever character in however a manner you want. The types list is is not a rule, it's a guide. It shows people how characters are best used. However you still must choose 2 types for Clan membership.
